LifeTrak C200 Core Heart Rate Watch – White and Pistachio

PRICE:  $53.78

The LifeTrak C200 Core Heart Rate Watch is an inexpensive system that tracks activities and provides valuable workout statistics such as steps, distance and calories burned. Whether the user is an avid walker, jogger or runner, workouts can be tracked hourly, daily or weekly.

This water resistant device also doubles its functions as a typical watch with time and date readouts or can act as a stop watch.

Any user monitoring heart rate will find it easy to do with the simple touch of the display button on the face of the watch.

The accuracy of this device is calibrated by personalized data such as birth date, weight, height, and gender. Therefore, there is no need to wear a chest strap for monitoring. Your body is always burning calories throughout the day – even when in rest. This watch comes with an All Day Calorie meter which means it is accounting for those calories burned in activity as well as non-activity.

No need to worry about seeing the screen on the LifeTrak C200 Core Heart Rate Watch. The digital screen is always displayed, easy to read and also lights up at the touch of a button if it needs to be read in a dimly lit environment. Navigating through the displays is easily done with the two side buttons located on the right side of the watch.

This device has the design of a typical watch that can be worn with a white band or, depending on the mood of the user, can be reversed to fit their style. Do you want a more colorful, stylish look? No problem! A new look can be established by simply changing the band which can be purchased separately in a variety of colors including blue, green, orange, yellow and raspberry. In addition, there is no hassle with changing the band because it is very simple to do and can be done in a matter of minutes.

No charging required for this device. It runs off a long-lasting coin cell battery.  However, the life of the battery will depend on usage. If the watch display starts to fade partially or completely, will be an indication that it is time to change the battery.

THE PROS:Thumbs-up-yes
This watch is very reasonably priced when compared to other watches of its kind. It provides easy to read data including steps, distance, and calories burned. It also functions as a timer, or as a typical watch displaying time and date.  It comes with an easy to read digital monitor and reversible wrist band to give you a different look whenever you desire to do so.  Inputting personalized information is easy with the touch of a button.

THE CONS:Thumbs-down-no
Since this watch does not sync with other electronic devices, past data can not be retrieved. Also, steps are calculated  by arm swings. Therefore, there could be times steps are inaccurate due to arm movements. However, if this is a problem, you may change the sensitivity setting.

This watch is for anyone who wants to monitor steps, distance, and calories burned during the day, week or month easily and simply. This watch can handle the task of the avid walker, jogger or runner wanting to monitor information with no problem and at an affordable cost.

I would recommend the LifeTrak C200 Core Heart Rate Watch if you would like a simple way of monitoring steps, distance, or calories. It is affordable and very easy to use.

  1. My wife is currently searching for a fitness watch to provide information regarding steps & distance taken but more importantly how many calories have been burnt.

LifeTrak incorporate this information combined with time display that’s visually easy to read including a fair price, ticks all her boxes, I think I will purchase this and surprise her.

Is this fitness watch waterproof? She swims a few times a week, this would fulfil all requirements if she could wear it whilst swimming.

    1. Simon, thank you for visiting my site, as well as for the comments and question. While this device is water resistant, it is not water proof making the watch able to resist the penetration of water to some degree but not entirely. Also, the watch may incur water leakage if the buttons are used in or under water. Therefore, I would suggest taking all of that into consideration before swimming and totally submerging it.

If your wife is interested in calories burned, one thing to keep in mind is the body is always burning calories throughout the day – even when in rest. The watch comes with an All Day Calorie meter which means it is accounting for those calories burned in activity as well as non-activity. Once again, thank you for visiting my site and I hope you have a healthy day.
